Some celebrations are defined by logistics and timelines. Carson and Jase’s wedding at Cheekwood Gardens & Soho House was defined by something entirely different—feeling. They envisioned a laid-back, organic experience centered around connection, celebration, and the intentional presence of the people they love most.
Together, we crafted a day that moved gently, breathed freely, and invited every guest to feel completely at ease.
A Home-Centered Beginning
The day began at Carson’s childhood home, where she got ready surrounded by family and lifelong friends. Skipping the traditional bridal suite in favor of a familiar, meaningful space created the relaxed tone she hoped for. The morning felt warm, nostalgic, and deeply personal—exactly the kind of foundation a connection-focused wedding needs.
A Secret Garden Ceremony at Cheekwood
Carson and Jase exchanged vows in Cheekwood’s Howe Garden, a space that immediately evoked a “backyard secret garden” feeling. Lush greenery, tucked-away pathways, and the soft hum of nature created an intimate atmosphere that felt both whimsical and timeless.
Guests weren’t just attending a ceremony—they were stepping into a moment suspended in beauty.
Cocktail-Style Connection at Soho House
After the ceremony, the celebration continued at Soho House, where the reception was intentionally designed as cocktail-style rather than a formal seated dinner. This allowed guests to graze, mingle, and float throughout the space in a way that encouraged genuine connection.
The atmosphere was alive with conversation and movement, mirroring Carson and Jase’s desire for a reception that felt more like a shared experience than a structured event.
Romantic, Whimsical, and Soft Details
Even with the laid-back approach, the details throughout Cheekwood Gardens & Soho House were breathtaking. Every element—florals, signage, draped bars and tables—was curated to reflect “Carson + Jase’s love”: romantic, whimsical, and soft.
Our team hand-pinned custom draping across picnic tables, the cocktail bar, reception tables, and food displays. These fabric details created texture and flow, enhancing the organic aesthetic without overwhelming it.
A Flash-Mob Surprise to Remember
One of the most unforgettable highlights of the night came when Carson and her favorite girls surprised guests with a choreographed flash-mob-style performance to “Super Trouper” from Mamma Mia. It was unexpected, joy-filled, and the perfect kickoff to the dancing portion of the evening.
A Day Filled With Love and Intention
From the slow-paced morning to the vibrant reception at Soho House, every moment of Carson & Jase’s wedding was intentionally personal. You could feel the love and connection in every space, every exchange, every design detail.
Their day wasn’t just beautiful, it was meaningful, immersive, and completely authentic to who they are.
