Josie + Austin: ‘Vogue on the Farm’

Josie and Austin’s wedding was a celebration filled with laughter, joy, and meaningful connections. High school sweethearts for nearly ten years, the couple chose a deeply personal location for their special day: Josie’s childhood home. This backyard wedding beautifully honored their shared history while showcasing their unique personalities.

The wedding design was intentionally curated to merge rustic charm with contemporary style. We called this theme “Vogue on the Farm,” reflecting Josie’s fashion-forward personality against the backdrop of her family’s farm. Each detail, from decor to floral arrangements, was carefully selected to highlight this elegant contrast.

For their ceremony, Josie and Austin invited fewer than 40 guests, creating an intimate and heartfelt atmosphere. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, every vow and glance felt deeply personal. The side yard provided a serene, natural setting, perfectly suited for their private moment.

After the ceremony, the celebration expanded to include 120 guests for the cocktail hour and reception. The backyard came alive with music, laughter, and dancing as their extended community joined to honor the couple. The evening was a seamless blend of intimacy and festivity, offering something special for every guest.

This October day was unforgettable. Every moment, from quiet exchanges during the ceremony to joyful celebrations at the reception, reflected Josie and Austin’s love story. Their backyard wedding successfully captured both the sentimental value of their roots and the vibrancy of their personalities.
